No Smoke Without Fire ( Also Where There's Smoke There's Fire)
Almond oil, Green Tea, home made chocolates, cinnamon and oh yes Dogs! While traditionally Coonoor may have been famous for all these things, modern day Coonoor brochures need to put just one man's face on them. David.
The first of the Onida devils, David has made himself a beautiful home in the hills of Coonoor. While we're driving around looking for his home we pass a signboard that says "Anchorage" and I instantly launch into a Paras' Joke (Pj, for more watch the show!).

So, anyway, I crack this award winning PJ and we drive around looking for David's home only to realise Anchorage is exactly where David lives with his sister and two dogs, smokey and MJ. What luck! I tirelessly tell him the joke until he chuckles, mostly out of sheer politeness i think.
Smokey and MJ have an adventure with the team of Heavy Petting thats a first for them. Because the hills of Coonoor have awesome tea gardens (white tea, which i bought some packets of!), it only made sense to make that landscape a part of the show. While smokey was happy to take in the sights and the smells of all the chai around, MJ, clearly a moonwalker was about to break into a marathon across the tea estate. It's a good thing he had me on a leash!
I've always thought to myself, if you wanna have babies (clearly making them is just as much fun!) or make animals a part of your life, a place like this lends itself to such an experience. We come away from coonoor with trucks loads of olive and eucalyptus oil only to have half the bottles leak in my bag staining half of my socks! The obvious lesson in life, sometimes its important to just take a moment in and enjoy it for just that- the moment. Not everything can be carried back. Especially not in badly packed bottles.
